Priceless Fish Platter »
DRIFTWOOD BASS on CLinchfield shape is a large 17" platter signed by Georgia Miller and inscribed THE DRIFTWOOD,VERO BEACH, FLA. DIrectly under the largemouth bass are the names EMERY-HARPER-KIBLER. The platter is believed to be one of three produced-for the three men named on the platter, who made this fishing trip together over the years. The back of the platter is as attractive as the front. There a rustic drawing of the entrance to a fishing camp, informs you that "THE DRIFTWOOD-where the management makes you welcome and the guests you meet are real people." It is dated 3/1/54 and signed by Hugh W Kibler, president of Southern Potteries, Inc from 1951-1957.**More information on this or any of the pieces shown in the Museum can be found in our three books.
