Blue Ridge China Marketplace

This is an unmarked YELLOW BETSY Jug. It is 8" tall, but heavier than Blue Ridge Betsy jugs so we are placing it in this section. The shape is good, but as you can see there are no decorations (flowers, etc) painted on it. It would look nice filled with fresh spring flowers and perhaps displayed in a Blue Ridge collection with similar pieces-even though it is NOT Blue Ridge.

Although this one is SOLD we do have another one that is not as heavy nor as deep in color. It is more a pale yellow. It too is not marked BLUE RIDGE so we are selling it as an unidentified piece. Like most of these old pieces, it has lovely crazing.
